Dear IARU Region 3 colleagues,

We have been watch­ing the devel­op­ing sit­u­a­tion on COVID-19 with seri­ous concern.

Ama­teur radio is gen­er­al­ly deemed to be a good prac­tice to keep prop­er social dis­tanc­ing. How­ev­er, spe­cial atten­tions should be paid in doing a mul­ti­ple-oper­a­tor prac­tice in the events such as Field Day or contests. 

World Ama­teur Radio Day, April 18, is just a few weeks away. We would appre­ci­ate if you can join the event to cel­e­brate the 95th anniver­sary of IARU.

We hope all ama­teurs enjoy the ama­teur radio in accor­dance with the instruc­tions and guide­lines on COVID-19 issued by the respon­si­ble author­i­ty of each country.
