JA New Year QSO Party

JARL will hold its annu­al New Year QSO Party.

This QSO Par­ty is open to all Radio Ama­teur­sand SWLs. It runs for 6 days, so please find time to make con­tact with at least 20 JA stations.

Com­mu­ni­cat­ing in the slight­ly dif­fer­ent atmos­phere of the New Year is sure to be fun!!

[Dates] 00:00 UTC on Jan­u­ary 2nd to 12:00 UTC on Jan­u­ary 7th

[Band/Mode] All bands and modes per­mit­ted to JA ama­teur sta­tions, except for the use of repeaters

[Con­tacts] DX sta­tions may only con­tact JA sta­tions. JA sta­tions may con­tact any oth­er stations.

[Exchanges] RS(T) or sig­nal strength report (e.g. dB for FTx) + Name (includ­ing Han­dle, Ini­tial, etc)

[Log Sub­mis­sion Dead­line] Jan­u­ary 31, 2026

Event com­mem­o­ra­tive stick­ers will be pre­sent­ed to par­tic­i­pants who com­plete a min­i­mum of 20 con­tacts with JA sta­tions and sub­mit their logs. The stick­er fea­tures an illus­tra­tion based on that year’s Chi­nese zodi­ac ani­mal. Sub­mit your elec­tron­ic log to receive a free dig­i­tal sticker.
