JARL will hold its annual New Year QSO Party.
This QSO Party is open to all Radio Amateursand SWLs. It runs for 6 days, so please find time to make contact with at least 20 JA stations.
Communicating in the slightly different atmosphere of the New Year is sure to be fun!!
[Dates] 00:00 UTC on January 2nd to 12:00 UTC on January 7th
[Band/Mode] All bands and modes permitted to JA amateur stations, except for the use of repeaters
[Contacts] DX stations may only contact JA stations. JA stations may contact any other stations.
[Exchanges] RS(T) or signal strength report (e.g. dB for FTx) + Name (including Handle, Initial, etc)
[Log Submission Deadline] January 31, 2026

Event commemorative stickers will be presented to participants who complete a minimum of 20 contacts with JA stations and submit their logs. The sticker features an illustration based on that year’s Chinese zodiac animal. Submit your electronic log to receive a free digital sticker.
